Contact Tidy Puzzles

The best way to reach us is email: hello@tidypuzzles.com. We are a small team and read everything, though we cannot promise a fast reply. Before writing about a problem, the troubleshooting notes below fix most of the things people ask about.

Reporting a bug

A report we can reproduce is a report we can fix. Please include as much of this as you can.

Puzzle problems

If you think a Sudoku has two solutions, a nonogram needs a guess, a sliding puzzle cannot be solved or a deal marked winnable is not, send the puzzle code. That is exactly what codes are for: we will rerun the same puzzle through the solvers and tell you what we find. In our tests these guarantees hold, but a report with a code is the fastest way to prove us wrong.

What to expect

We usually answer within a few days. There is no automated reply, so silence means we have not got to it yet, not that it was lost. Fixes are noted on the changelog page, which is also where to check whether something you reported has already been addressed.

Accounts and lost stats

There are no accounts on Tidy Puzzles, so there is nothing to reset, recover or delete on our side. Stats, streaks and unfinished games live in your browser only. If they have disappeared, the browser cleared its site data, or you are in a different browser, profile or device. We cannot restore them because we never had them.

Ads

For a specific ad that is offensive or misleading, use the controls on the ad itself; that reports it directly to Google, which serves the ads. For a problem with how ads behave on the site, such as an ad covering the board, appearing before you can play, or a consent message that will not close, write to us with the page, the time and a screenshot. Those are things we control and want to know about.

Troubleshooting

Press, partnerships and everything else

Same address: hello@tidypuzzles.com. We do not publish guest posts, sell links or host third-party games, so please do not ask. Suggestions for new puzzle types or themes are welcome and go on the roadmap when they fit.
