Printable sudoku sheets, from Easy to Evil
Make printable sudoku sheets at any level, Easy to Evil, or 4×4 and 6×6 grids for children. Choose how many puzzles, how many per page and the paper size, and the PDF is built in your browser in a moment. No app, no sign-up, nothing to click through; works offline, and every control works from the keyboard.
How to print sudoku sheets
- Choose a difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Evil or Kids.
- Pick how many puzzles (1 to 12) and how many per page (1, 2, 4 or 6).
- Choose A4 or Letter, normal or large print, and whether to include solutions.
- Create the PDF, then open, save or print it.
- Keep the sheet code if you want the same puzzles again later.
Printable sudoku: layouts, classrooms and travel
The harder the grid, the more room you need for pencil marks, so match the layout to the level.
- Six per page suits Easy and Kids grids and warm-ups, where you rarely write notes.
- Four per page is a good default for Medium and Hard: grids are large enough for small corner notes.
- Two per page gives Hard and Expert solvers space for full candidate lists.
- One per page, with a grid about 16 cm wide, suits Evil, and readers who want large print.
What the PDF contains
Each page has a title with the level and sheet code, a one-line reminder of the rules, numbered puzzles and a page count. Solutions, if included, follow on separate pages at the end in the same layout, givens in bold and answers in grey. Every grid has exactly one solution and is rated by the techniques it needs, as online.
For classrooms
Print one sheet code for the whole class so everyone works the same puzzles, and print the solution pages separately for marking. Kids sheets at 4×4 suit younger pupils.
For travel and waiting rooms
Twelve Medium or Hard grids at four per page fill three sheets of paper, enough for a long flight. Leave the solution pages at home if you want no temptation.
Printables and online play
The PDF is made on your device; nothing is uploaded. Every level can also be played online with hints that name the technique, and the daily sudoku is a new grid every day.
Plays anywhere, no app, no account
Printable sudoku sheets can be made on a phone too, and the PDF opens in any viewer or prints straight away. Tidy Puzzles runs entirely in your browser: there is no app to install, no account to create and no interstitial before you can play. After the first visit the game also works offline, because each puzzle is generated on your device from a seed. Every board can be played with the keyboard alone, on a phone or a desktop, and your stats and unfinished puzzles stay in this browser rather than on a server.
