What makes these puzzles different
Most puzzle sites are built around the ads; this one is built around the puzzle. The board loads first, at its final size, and you can make your first move within a couple of seconds on a phone. Ads, where they appear, sit beside or below the board and never cover it or delay it.
A few things hold across every game on the site.
- No app and no sign-up. Open a page and play.
- No interstitial before play. Nothing to dismiss and nothing to watch first.
- Works offline. After your first visit the site and every game are cached by a service worker, and today's daily puzzles are computed on your device, so they work on a plane.
- Keyboard-accessible. Every board can be played with the arrows, digits and a few letter keys, every cell has a label for screen readers, and there is a high-contrast theme.
- Fair puzzles. Sudoku grids have exactly one solution, nonograms are verified solvable by logic alone, sliding puzzles are shuffled with real moves, and Solitaire deals are marked winnable only when a solver has checked them.
- Your stats stay in your browser. Best times, win rates and streaks are stored on the device, not on a server.
What to play first
If you are new to Sudoku, start on Easy: those grids need only singles, so every cell can be found by scanning a row, a column and a box. Medium adds hidden singles and pointing pairs. Hard and above are where notes and the technique hints earn their keep.
For a short break on a phone, 2048 on the standard 4×4 board takes a minute to learn. Minesweeper Beginner is a 9×9 board with ten mines, and the first click always opens a clear area. The 5×5 nonogram teaches the whole idea of picture logic in a few minutes.
For a longer sit-down, Klondike Solitaire with turn 1 is the friendliest of the card games, FreeCell is the most skill-based, and Spider with one suit is a gentle way into a big board. Word Search and Memory Match are the ones to play when you want something calm.
How the daily puzzles and streaks work
Five games have a daily: Sudoku (Hard by default, with a switch for other levels), Minesweeper (an Expert board), Solitaire (a turn 1 deal), FreeCell and a 15×15 Nonogram. Each daily is generated from the date and the game, so everyone in the world gets the same puzzle, and a new one appears at midnight UTC.
Solve today's daily to extend your streak for that game. A streak carries on as long as you solved yesterday's, and the last 30 days stay available in the archive if you want to catch up. When you finish, the win panel offers a short plain-text result you can paste anywhere.
Printables and the Sudoku solver
The printable pages turn any difficulty into a PDF made entirely in your browser: choose how many puzzles, how many per page, the paper size (A4 or Letter) and whether to include solutions on separate pages. Word searches print with their word bank; kids sheets use big 4×4 and 6×6 grids.
The Sudoku solver takes a grid you type or paste, tells you whether it has one solution, none or many, and can show the next step with the technique that finds it, which is a better way to get unstuck than reading the answer.
Ads, privacy and what we keep
The site is free and paid for by ads that appear around the board. There are no accounts, no third-party error tracking and no data sold. Analytics is anonymous. The How it works page explains the generators and the guarantees behind each game; the privacy page explains what is stored where, in plain English.
