Spider solitaire one suit is the gentlest version of Spider: all 104 cards are spades, so every card you place builds a run that can move as a whole. It is the best way to learn the game. No app, no sign-up and no interstitial before play; it works offline and from the keyboard, with unlimited undo.

How to play one-suit Spider
Ten columns hold 54 cards, only the top card of each face up; 50 wait in the stock.
Every card is a spade, so any card on a card one rank higher extends a movable run.
Move runs between columns to uncover face-down cards.
Deal ten new cards from the stock when you run out of moves; no column may be empty.
A run from king to ace clears itself. Clear all eight to win.
One-suit strategy
With one suit the only question is order, not colour or suit. Games are lost mainly through careless deals.
Uncover before you build
When two moves are possible, prefer the one that turns over a face-down card. Runs are easy to rebuild with one suit; hidden cards are the real obstacle.
Build from the kings down
A run that starts with a king never needs to move again until it is complete. Put kings in empty columns and grow their runs, rather than stacking long runs on a queen that is still sitting on face-down cards.
Prepare every deal
Before dealing, make all useful moves and join runs so that as few columns as possible end in a low card. After the deal, rejoin the broken runs first. With care, most one-suit deals can be won.
Watch the score
Every move costs a point, so the best scores come from winning with fewer moves. Try to finish a king-to-ace run early; each one returns 100 points and frees space.
A clean win with all eight suits cleared scores 1,300 minus the number of moves and deals you made, so shaving off wasted moves is the way to beat your best. Moving runs back and forth between two columns is the usual leak.
Spider solitaire one suit stats
One-suit games keep their own stats: played, won, win rate, best and average time, and best score. The timer starts on your first move. The first two hints in each game are free; when ads are switched on later, further hints offer a short ad or a 30-second wait. Each deal has a puzzle code you can share.
Plays anywhere, no app, no account
All ten columns fit a phone screen, and every run can be picked up with Enter and Shift with the arrow keys. Tidy Puzzles runs entirely in your browser: there is no app to install, no account to create and no interstitial before you can play. After the first visit the game also works offline, because each puzzle is generated on your device from a seed. Every board can be played with the keyboard alone, on a phone or a desktop, and your stats and unfinished puzzles stay in this browser rather than on a server.
Frequently asked questions
Is one-suit Spider easy?
It is the easiest Spider. Every build is in suit, so every run can move, and most deals can be won with care.
Are all one-suit deals winnable?
Not guaranteed. Deals are random and not checked by a solver, but a lost one-suit game is rare.
What suit is used?
Spades. All eight sets of ace to king are spades.
What should I play after one suit?
Two suits adds hearts, so you have to choose your builds. It is the natural next step.
