Daily Nonogram: today's 15×15 grid

The daily nonogram is one 15×15 grid a day, the same for everyone, with a new one at midnight UTC. It is verified solvable line by line, and solving it extends your streak. How to play Nonogram

  1. The numbers beside each row and above each column give the lengths of the runs of filled cells in that line, in order. Neighbouring runs are separated by at least one empty cell.
  2. Tap or click a cell to fill it. Switch to Cross mode (or use the right mouse button) to mark cells you know are empty. Drag along a row or column to paint a run of cells.
  3. A clue dims once its line shows exactly those runs.
  4. Filling a cell that is empty in the picture is a mistake. With "Show mistakes as you play" on it is marked at once; otherwise Check marks it.
  5. Hint names one cell that the clues settle and explains why. Undo and redo step through your strokes.
  6. The puzzle is solved when the filled cells match the picture. Crosses are notes and never count against you.
  7. Every puzzle can be completed with line logic alone: no guessing is ever needed.

How to play the daily nonogram

  1. Read the row and column clues: runs of filled cells, in order, with gaps between.
  2. Fill cells you can prove and cross cells that must be empty.
  3. Drag to paint a straight run; right-click places the other mark.
  4. Finish when every clue is satisfied to record today's solve and extend your streak.
  5. Copy the share text from the win panel to compare with friends.

Daily nonogram tips

The daily is a standard 15×15: 55 to 65 percent of cells filled, up to seven runs per line and at most three empty rows and three empty columns. The best routine is the same every day.

  • Compute the slack for each line: 15 minus the runs minus one gap between each pair. Fill cells covered by any run longer than the slack.
  • Check for lines with zero slack or a clue of 0; they are settled at once.
  • Anchor runs that touch the border or a cross, and cross the cell after each finished run.
  • Alternate rows and columns until the grid opens up.
  • Cross every blank in a line as soon as its clue dims.

Keeping the streak

Undo is always available, and mistakes do not end the puzzle; they only add to the Mistakes counter, which never goes down. For a clean solve, turn off Show mistakes as you play and use Check at the end, which marks every wrong fill at once. If you get stuck, the hint names one cell and the reason, such as Overlap or Forced empty, and Apply hint marks it for you. A solve counts for the streak however you get there, so a hint on a busy morning is better than a missed day.

Daily, stats and printables

Today's 15×15 grid is built from the date, so everyone has the same one. The Daily puzzles page keeps the last 30 days if you miss one.

The timer starts on your first stroke and pauses when you switch tabs. Stats per size stay in this browser: played, won, win rate, best and average time, and your daily streak. Undo and Redo cover every stroke. The first two hints on a puzzle are free; if ads are switched on later, more hints offer a short ad or a 30-second wait. Wins come with share text, and random puzzles have a code such as A7K3Q that replays them.

Plays anywhere, no app, no account

The daily nonogram scrolls inside its frame on a phone with a Scroll toggle, and every cell can be filled or crossed from the keyboard. Tidy Puzzles runs entirely in your browser: there is no app to install, no account to create and no interstitial before you can play. After the first visit the game also works offline, because each puzzle is generated on your device from a seed. Every board can be played with the keyboard alone, on a phone or a desktop, and your stats and unfinished puzzles stay in this browser rather than on a server.
