How to print easy sudoku sheets
- Easy is selected on this page; choose 1 to 12 puzzles.
- Pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page. Easy grids need little note space, so six per page works well.
- Choose A4 or Letter and normal or large print.
- Tick solutions to add answer pages at the end.
- Create the PDF and print it, and note the sheet code to recreate it.
Printable easy sudoku: what the grids need
Every Easy grid is rated as solvable with one technique, the naked single: at each point there is an empty cell where eight digits already appear in its row, column and box, so only one digit fits. No notes, pairs or guessing are ever required.
On paper, work from the fullest rows, columns and boxes. For each gap, list what its row is missing and cross off anything in its column or box. After each placement, look at the cells it touches; one of them often becomes the next single.
Easy sheets suit beginners, older children moving on from 6×6 grids, and anyone who wants a relaxing puzzle with a morning coffee. In a classroom, they make a good first sudoku lesson after the rules are explained: six grids on one page give a full lesson of practice, and the solution pages make marking quick.
For travel, a sheet of six Easy grids fits in a pocket and needs only a pencil. Large print keeps the digits clear for readers who prefer bigger type.
When Easy sheets start to feel quick, the Medium sheets add hidden singles, which reward scanning by digit rather than by cell.
